Thorner Victory Hall has been at the centre of village life for nearly 90 years.
It provides a base for a variety of entertainment events plus classes which range from French to zumba.
In recent years, thousands of pounds have been spent modernising the hall and its facilities, enabling it to be used more flexibly.
Much of this money has been raised by 'Raise the Roof' events such as the annual beer festival and our famous comedy nights.
The Victory Hall in Thorner can also be hired for private parties including wedding receptions. There are full catering and bar facilities.
